Automobile lovers will flock to the Spa City on September 22-23, 2017 to attend the inaugural Saratoga Automobile Auction.
The event will feature a large collection of cars, boats, trucks and motorcycles worth over $8,000,000 that will be auctioned off on the Saratoga Performing Art Center stage. This inaugural event will support the museum’s education programs and distracted driving safety initiative.
Spectators seated in the SPAC amphitheater will see cars from throughout the northeast, the Mid-Atlantic States and even Canada auctioned to the highest bidder. There are American, Foreign, Antique, Classic, Exotic, Modern and Hot Rod cars consigned along with a number of boats and motorcycles, all in a broad range of prices.
A full-day preview will be open to the public from 10am to 4pm on Thursday, September 21st and 10am to 2pm on Friday, September 22nd. The live auction will start at 4pm on Friday, September, 22nd and 10 am on Saturday, September 23rd, with famed auctioneer Brent Earlywine wielding the gavel. Bring your appetite as some of the Capital Region's best food trucks will be on site with their culinary delights!
TV personalities on hand will include Steve Hale of the History Channel's American Restorations with his 1936 Chevy custom truck which took 1st place at 2017 Detroit Autorama, a restored 1940 GMC tow truck and his 1972 roller skate car as seen on American Restorations and his 1990 US Military Humvee fully customized for Feed Our Vets organization as well as the star of the Discovery Channel's American Choppers, Paul Teutul Jr., who will show off a few of his one of a kind custom motorcycles. Both Steve and Paul Jr. will be available for photos and to greet the public.
