Who is Richard Kessinger?

 

Mr. Kessinger is a Certified Protection Professional (CPP), the world's highest recognition awarded to security practitioners. Achieved through experience and successful completion of a technical and broad-based examination, this certification provides an objective measure of knowledge and competency in security management. He is also Certified in Homeland Security-Level III by the American Board for Certification in Homeland Security.  Prior to establishing the company Mr. Kessinger served as an associate with Kroll Security Services Group, an international risk management company. His responsibilities included: conducting sensitive and comprehensive physical security surveys, anti-terrorism assessments (reviewed and evaluated existing physical, operational and technical security), evaluated specifications of physical security equipment including door opening hardware, forced entry protective designs and vehicle arrest devices, the design of electronic security systems including closed circuit television, access control, ID badging, vehicular control, elevator control and duress systems. 

Mr. Kessinger’s previous experience included two years with the United States Capitol Police Washington, D.C. – Physical Security Division / Coordination Section where he served as Lead Physical Security Specialist. Mr. Kessinger was considered to be the Coordination Section’s resident expert in physical security techniques, methodology and implementation.  While serving as Lead Physical Security Specialist, his responsibilities included: the review of surveys prepared by subordinates to ensure consistency with past evaluations; providing recommendations, modifications, acquisitions, and testing procedures designed to enhance the performance of the United States Capitol Police security systems and equipment;  Evaluating the needs of the Capitol Complex and developing reports recommending security solutions that meet current and anticipated requirements.
Prior to these positions, Mr. Kessinger had 20 years of service as an Officer with the New York City Police Department, 10 years in the Department’s Crime Prevention Section.  During this time he conducted over 400 risk assessments at various facilities.  Some of these include: New York City Bridges & Tunnels, New York State and City courthouses, the United Nations, UN Missions and Consulates, Fortune 500 firms and New York City Public Schools.  He served as the Security Manager for the new police forensic laboratory reviewing the selection of the appropriate equipment and location of sensors, cameras, locks and hardened barriers, as well as identifying security posts and developing security procedures for the facility.
He also served as the Project Manager for the physical security upgrade at One Police Plaza. His responsibilities included ensuring security requirements were identified and adequately addressed, managing the budget and maintaining the project schedule.

Who is Colin Combs?

 Colin has over ten years of accounting experience, including service in both public accounting as well as the private sector. Colin primarily provides audit services to the firm's clients. A native of Wells, Vermont , Colin received his Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Siena College in 2001, and became certified to practice public accounting in New York in 2005. During 2008, Colin obtained his Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) designation. This designation denotes proven expertise in fraud prevention, detection, deterrence, and investigation.

Who is Donna Farrar?

Donna has over thirty-four years of accounting experience, and is primarily responsible for the firm's audit practice. Donna is a native of Campbell Hall , New York , and attended the State University of New York at Albany , where she obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting in 1972. She obtained her designation as a Certified Public Accountant in New York State in 1975. 

Who is John Roberts?

John has been in public accounting for three years, and had approximately one year of accounting experience in the private sector before entering public accounting. He primarily provides auditing and accounting services to clients of the firm. John is a native of Granville , New York , and attended the State University of New York at Albany , where he obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in 2005. John became registered as a Certified Public Accountant in New York State in 2009.
