Helping Businesses Survive the Perfect Storm of 2009:
Strategies for Survival and Growth in Today’s Economy
Wednesday, May 6, 8 to 10 a.m., tailored for businesses with 2 - 10 employees
Wednesday May 13, 8 to 10 a.m., designed for larger businesses with at least 11 employees
For the first time since the depression, a perfect storm is hitting the business community worldwide, including Saratoga. Without decisive action, a storm of this magnitude will obliterate many previously successful businesses.
The Saratoga County Chamber of Commerce and the Saratoga Economic Development Corporation are co-sponsoring two seminars presented by SCORE, counselors to America's small businesses. These seminars will prepare businesses to:
• Diagnosis what facets of their business are most critical to their survival.
• Employ strategies to improve the odds of survival and increase the likelihood of growth and success.
Five SCORE counselors, all former senior executives at major corporations or successful small business owners, will present new ways of thinking about business problems and improving outcomes. Attendees will break into focus groups after the presentation to ask questions. Free follow-up meetings will be scheduled for those desiring more specific help.
