Spring Golf Day A Success!
With 110 golfers participating, the Spring Golf Tournament, held at Brookhaven Golf Club, was a great success.
Jim Cameron from Allerdice Building Supply won the Putting Contest and a bottle of Bacardi Rum, donated by D’Andrea’s Liquor and Wine. Bob Rice, Saratoga YMCA and Dan Fortier, Longfellow’s Restaurant and Inn, both won gift certificates to the Posie Peddler.
Peter Linder, HSBC, crushed the Longest Drive Contest with a drive over 350 yards, taking home a gift certificate to the Local Pub and Teahouse.
Closest to the Pin went to BP Marketing’s Barry Potoker, earning him a Circus Café gift certificate.
The foursome with the lowest net were all members of the YMCA staff;
Bob Rice, Bob Farley, Jeanne VanPatten and Jim Letts. They each took home a certificate for a free round of golf at Brookhaven.
The biggest winners of the day were the foursome with the lowest gross score. This group was made up of: Jim Snyder, Tom Mebert, P. Snyder, and Paul Schwartz, all from the law offices of Snyder, Kiley, Toohey, Cox and Corbett.
For their efforts they each received a round of golf at Brookhaven with cart as well as a sleeve of Callaway HX Tour 56 balls.
