Week of September 5: Simple shades of color are starting to appear on the mostly green trees. We're just at the very beginning of our fall colors here in Saratoga.
Week of September 12: More developed oranges, yellows and reds are mixing in with still mostly green trees. The colors are coming along nicely!
Week of September 19: Many pockets of red, yellow and orange foliage have formed, though the leaves are still mainly green. The contrast is quite beautiful even though we are still at the beginning of our foliage season.
Week of September 26: There are still green leaves but the reds, yellows and oranges are now coming out in much brighter fashion. Our fall foliage season is well underway.
Week of October 3: Vibrant reds, yellows and oranges are visible throughout much of the area, with touches of green in some lower elevation areas. By the upcoming holiday weekend there should be a significant change, especially in the higher elevations.
Week of October 10: It's the perfect week to head to Saratoga. Near peak conditions in the valleys, peak conditions throughout most of the area and just past peak in the higher elevations make for a beautiful view anywhere you turn.
Week of October 17: There is still some time left to see fall foliage in Saratoga including some vibrant bursts of bright reds, deep oranges and bright yellows. Peak conditions in the low-lying valleys, and past-peak conditions throughout the rest of the area.
Week of October 24: Much of the fall colors are still visible with a mixture of bright and muted reds, golds and oranges. Though we're past peak conditions there are beautiful panoramic views of the mountains and low lying areas.
