Saratoga, New York Offers Visitors Fun Family Events this February
Saratoga Springs, NY – Three great events are happening in Saratoga, New York during the month of February.
People come from near and far to experience Chowderfest in Saratoga Springs, New York. The 10th Annual Chowderfest will be held February 2nd, 2008 at local Saratoga restaurants and establishments from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. It is a great way to get the whole family out on a bright winter day. With over 30 participating establishments to choose from, visitors can taste test different chowders or soups for $1 each. Don’t forget to vote for your favorite! Chowderfest is part of the larger Winterfest 2008 celebration weekend. Packed full of fun with great indoor and outdoor activities, it’s a sure bet for family fun. From wine tasting to ice skating, this festival has it all. Visitors can enjoy the hot chowder, art exhibits, craft show, candlelight ski and snowshoe, and ice skating. Dancers and music lovers of all ages don’t want to miss the 21st Annual Dance Flurry Festival in Saratoga. This event features an entire weekend of dancing, performances, workshops, concerts, crafts and so much more. With over 600 performers at seven venues, and over 250 events in three days this is a jam-packed festival. From Contra to Swing, Salsa to Clogging, Old-time American to Latin music this festival has it all. The event is February 15th to 17th, 2008 at various locations throughout Saratoga.
