Great Events and Getaway Packages Highlight Winter Season in Saratoga
Saratoga Springs, New York is host to four major events in the upcoming months including Saratoga Restaurant Week, the Victorian Streetwalk, the Festival of Trees and First Night Saratoga. Visitors can also take advantage of the many packages that have been created for the winter season.
Embark on a restaurant tour like no other during Saratoga Restaurant Week which runs from November 23 rd –November 29 th, 2007. The three course, pre-fixed meal is just $18.19 at a number of award winning restaurants around Saratoga Springs. Why 1819? That was the year the Town of Saratoga was “officially” established. Step back in time and kick off your Holiday shopping at the Victorian Streetwalk, Thursday, November 29 th, 2007 in downtown Saratoga Springs. The event features nearly 50 entertainment sites, including carolers, children entertainers, bands, and animals, plus Santa and Mrs. Claus and their reindeer. Visitors can marvel at the uniquely decorated, themed trees at the Festival of Trees, November 29 th through December 2 nd, 2007. The kids will love Breakfast with Santa Saturday morning, as he makes a stop to admire the trees. Visitors can ring in the New Year in style in Saratoga Springs! First Night Saratoga is a fun, alcohol free, family event that designed to welcome 2008 with a bang. Children's activities begin at 4:30 pm. The event features over 25 entertainment venues and a fireworks display at midnight.
