Saratoga, NY’s Winter Season Features Fantastic Family Events
SARATOGA SPRINGS, NY (December 13, 2010): Visitors can celebrate the turning of the calendar to 2011 in style at the 15 th annual First Night Saratoga, one of the largest New Year’s Eve events north of Times Square. This family-oriented evening includes seventy performances at over thirty different venues by dozens of musicians, artists, comedians and more. Also, for the first time ever, attendees will be able to participate in live art projects that evening. The night kicks off at 5:30 p.m. and ends at midnight with fireworks. The weekend of February 4 th through 6 th in 2011, features the Winterfest celebration throughout Saratoga Springs. The highlight of the weekend is the popular Chowderfest, held on Saturday, February 5 th from 11 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Visitors can sample a variety of soups and chowders for $1 each and vote for their favorites.
