Getting to Saratoga

By Car

From New York City: Take Rt 87 (NYS Thruway) North to Exit 24 (Albany), At Albany continue north take I-87 (The Adirondack Northway) north to Exit 13N, 14 or 15.

From Boston: Take the Mass. Pike to NYS Thruway (I-90), travel north on I-90 to Exit 24, Take I-87 (The Adirondack Northway) north to Exit 13N, 14 or 15

From Montreal and North of Saratoga: Take I-87 (The Adirondack Northway) south to Exit 15.

From Buffalo and West of Saratoga: Take the NYS Thruway (I-90) east to Exit 27 (Amsterdam). Turn right onto NY-30 (Signs for NY-5S) and follow signs to continue onto NY-67E. After roughly 19 miles, turn left onto NY-50 (Milton Ave) which will take you right into downtown Saratoga.

 

By Bus

The Albany International Airport is located just 30 miles south of Saratoga. Car rentals, limo services, and buses are available to help you reach your final destination.

By Train

Amtrak provides daily service to a station in Downtown Saratoga from major cities including Montreal, Manhattan, and Rutland. You will have to plan ahead for transportation from the station – options such as cabs, rideshares, and public transportation are available.

Getting around Saratoga

Saratoga Summer Trolley:

Bike Share:

CDPHP Cycle offers a bike-share program throughout Saratoga. Whether it’s for a few hours or the whole day you can find a bike using the app or even reserve one in advance. More information about pricing and bike rack locations can be found at https://cdphpcycle.com/

Rideshare:

Uber and Lyft both operate within the City of Saratoga Springs. Rides can be found on each company’s respective smartphone app.

Hotel Shuttles:

Longfellows Hotel offers a free shuttle service to and from Downtown Saratoga for its guests.

The Gideon Putnam offers a seasonal shuttle for its guests to Downtown Saratoga Springs and Amtrak Station, Casino & Raceway, and any location within Saratoga Spa State Park. The shuttle is complimentary and runs daily during racing season.

The Holiday Inn Saratoga offers a complimentary shuttle to its guests traveling within a 5 mile radius of the hotel. The shuttle runs from 7am to 10:30pm daily.

The Residence Inn Saratoga Springs offers a free downtown shuttle.

Homewood Suites Saratoga offers a shuttle departing every half hour to the Track, Casino, and two downtown locations.
