Get Your Groove On at These 2021 Summer Concert Series

Live music concerts are one of the highlights of summer, and there are several excellent concert series to choose from in the Saratoga area. Check out some of the following concert series in Saratoga County. Talented performers cover a range of music genres, from classic country to modern jazz, and everything in between.

SPAC's Summer Concert Series

Saratoga Performing Arts Center (SPAC) hosts a diverse lineup of performers at their acclaimed amphitheater nestled in picturesque Saratoga Spa State Park. They offer a wide variety of musical genres, including Live Nation Concerts, the Philadelphia Orchestra, Live at the Jazz Bar, and SPAC on Stage. The Live Nation Concert series draws top mainstream entertainers, and both the Dave Matthews Band and Zac Brown Band typically perform each year. SPAC also hosts the New York City Ballet and an annual Jazz Festival.

This unique venue allows guests to choose between sheltered seats and a sloping lawn - either way, you’re sure to be in for an incredible experience.

Summer Concert Series
in Congress Park

Congress Park fills with the sounds of vibrant jazz, classic rock, modern country, and more every Sunday evening in July and each Tuesday evening in August. These free Annual Summer Concerts are 7pm to 8:30pm at the War Memorial across from the Canfield Casino, with a rain location at the Saratoga Heritage Area Visitor Center.

CMS at the Meadows
Concert Series

SPAC resident company, Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center (CMS), is back at Saratoga Springs this summer for a series of six programs and twelve performances at Pitney Meadows Community Farm from June 13- August 29, 2021.

The series will take place rain or shine at Pitney Meadows Community Farm, under the High Tunnel greenhouse, a large outdoor event space.

Ballston Spa Concerts
in the Park

Ballston Spa Concerts in the Park is a free music series in Lions Music Park at the historic Iron Spring Park on Front Street. The park’s natural amphitheater setting, larger stage, and more available parking make it the ideal place for music performance and enjoyment. Their season runs on Thursdays from July through August from 6 - 8 PM and includes an annual Ice Cream Social in early August. Bluegrass bands like The North & South Dakotas and tSirsy have performed at the gazebo, and concerts are free and family-friendly.

Opera Saratoga

Come celebrate Opera Saratoga's 60th Anniversary with a season of Impossible Dreams, featuring performances inspired by the iconic novel Don Quixote by Miguel de Cervantes. The 2021 Summer Festival will be produced outdoors during June and July in partnership with the Saratoga Performing Arts Center (SPAC), Saratoga Spa State Park, and Pitney Meadows Community Farm.  They feature exciting operas each summer and have programs and activities throughout the year. Opera Saratoga has performed over 90 renowned pieces and full-staged works by over 50 composers.

Performing Arts at the Common

The Town of Clifton Park will once again sponsor the 2021 Performing Arts at the Common at the outdoor Clifton Common Stage. All performances are free and will take place on Wednesday and Sunday evenings (the exception is multi-day shows). Performing Arts at the Common of Clifton Park doesn’t just include live music, but musicals, magicians, and other types of free performances as well. Musicians and live performers take the stage on Sunday evenings, while events for kids happen on Wednesdays. The series runs during July and August.

Most performances will begin at 7:00 PM, and the summer musical will begin at 8:00 PM, rain or shine. Lawn chairs are welcome.
