VBC Veterans Breakfast
The Veterans Business Council of the Saratoga County Chamber of Commerce invites all who support Veterans to its annual breakfast honoring Veterans. This morning of connection and camaraderie will feature a short formal program to recognize scholarship recipients and a keynote, along with a fantastic opportunity for networking. The VBC Annual Breakfast is a fundraiser for the Veterans Business Council, which works to provide scholarship opportunities and career connections for Veterans.
The 2025 VBC Breakfast will feature a keynote by Gary Smith, Founder and Chief Consultant of Smith Leadership Consulting Group, a retired United States Marine Command Sergeant Major, and author of the book Mission First, People Always. The keynote will focus on the lessons in leadership that all businesses and organizations can use to reach their optimal performance.

More about the Keynote Speaker, Gary Smith:
Gary Smith is the Founder and Chief Consultant of Smith Leadership Consulting Group (SmithLCG.Com), which specializes in Motivational Speaking, Executive Leadership Coaching and Workforce Leadership Development.
Gary is a retired United States Marine Command Sergeant Major for almost three decades (27 1/2yrs) of service to this country, seeing and executing leadership from various vantage points both home and abroad that included combat tours.
Unquestionably, he has practical knowledge for coordinating, directing and completing a full range of leadership and management activities in support of various functions within many organizations.
Gary holds a B.S. Degree in Management from Excelsior College, and a Master’s Degree in Human Resource Education from Louisiana State University (LSU). Gary is also a certified Professional Counselor through the U.S. Department of Labor.
To date, Mr. Smith has trained participants from various sectors’ which includes The Department of Defense, the United States Federal Government, and various organizations with the Private Sector.
