Presents  "Northshire Live" 

Northshire Live is a weekly virtual community gathering for book lovers. Every Thursday at 5 pm, Northshire event managers Rachel Person & Dafydd Wood will host a wide ranging conversation about books from their respective homes. Each week will feature one or more guest authors who will read from and discuss a recent or forthcoming book.

Caffe Lena

Presents "Stay Home Sessions"

During this time of social distancing, Caffe Lena has been utilizing their live stream capabilities with what they are calling the "Stay Home Sessions." Every night at 8pm Caffe Lena will be streaming a combination of live stream concerts, pre-recorded performances, and rebroadcasting past shows. Viewers have the opportunity to tip musicians and support their nonprofit venue during the streams.

Fred Astaire Dance Studios

Presents "Online Dance Lessons"

The Fred Astaire Dance Studios is offering online Private and Group Dance Lessons in a variety of styles including Ballroom, Latin, and Social Dancing.  They also have a variety of Dance Workout Classes.  Private lessons can be scheduled by calling or emailing their studio at 518-587-0300 SaratogaSprings@FredAstaire.com.

Children's Museum at Saratoga

The Children's Museum at Saratoga are currently posting virtual programs 3 days a week on their Facebook and YouTube pages.

The museum is also adding "At Home Activities" every Sunday.  The list of activities can be seen here.

National Museum of Racing & Hall of Fame

Want to get an up close and personal look at the lives of some magnificent equine athletes from the comfort of home? On Fridays starting at 6pm, The Albany Symphony is offering live streaming available by clicking the above link or by tuning in at 89.1.  David Alan Miller and Rob Brown will select some of their favorite performances for rebroadcasting.

Saratoga Performing Arts Center has unveiled its new Learning Library, created to bring free original arts educational content to students, families and educators! Check out all the details by clicking here! 

Curated by SPAC with dedicated lessons for students of all ages, the video sessions include:

 "SPAC Breaks" a variety of introductory lessons to exercise the creative mind.

"Stories that Move" featuring short stories with dance instruction by Ellen Sinopoli Dance Company.

 "Kitchen Floor Dance Class" led by former Broadway performer and SPAC's Senior Director of Education, Dennis Moench.

"Virtual Dance Lab" advanced choreography-teaching sessions in a variety of genres.

In addition to the video lessons, SPAC has created "Printable SPAC-tivities" featuring exercises and coloring pages that teach fundamental music and dance concepts.
